Small Steps

So I’m still working on getting skilled enough in order to create basic assets for a working prototype for the game. I may be getting a little carried away but I’m really enjoying enjoying the asset creation process. Below is a barrel I made. It worked well as practice in what will be my new workflow:

  1. High Poly Sculpt
  2. Re-topologize Geometry
  3. Decimate to Low Poly
  4. Bake Maps from High Poly
  5. Paint  in Substance Painter
  6. Import into Unreal Engine

It’s currently a higher poly-count than I’d like but I’m working on it.
